Route 119, Any Route 119 Will Do

I love this sign, and I wonder what happens to unsuspecting tourists who take route 119 for the very first time.



We have something like this also with Route 4. There's "old route 4", "new route 4" and "local route 4". In everyday conversations, they're all referred to as "route 4" and it's up to you to figure out which one is being mentioned.

Yeah, it was pretty cold. The waterfall wasn't 100% frozen, but was pretty frozen nonetheless.

Remembering Summer

in Moka:


The squatting guy is wearing fundoshi, a traditional Japanese loincloth. It's a typical attire of men who carry mikoshi (portable shrines) during Shinto festivals.
