Shinkyo Bridge

Notice the support beams - they look like a shrine tori. The bridge is indeed sacred, and is one of the many properties belonging to Futara Shrine.

That's a beautiful bridge. I have not paid the fee to walk over it however and probably won't. I've driven past it dozens of times.

Boom, yes it is bright red.

Tornadoes,
we've never paid either, one time Yoshi jumped over from the hill on the Kanaya side and took a bunch of photos. And the booth people called the cops. We had to run, it was really funny.

Surely a place that breathes history. Interesting indeed to read about the fee and how much people seem to protect this place. Wishing you all a great Friday.
