This is the grandest festival in Nikko, and the only problem is that it's always held on May 17 and 18, regardless of whether those dates come on a weekend or not. It was really hard for me to make it there - I had to work. So I only managed to go for day 2. These photos were taken by my wonderful (and infinitely more talented) husband. - the "Y" of "A and Y Ikeda".
